About the position as Account Manager

As an Account Manager at VEGA, you work with freedom under responsibility. You will be based from your home office and will ensure the development of existing accounts while focusing on new customer acquisition in the West region by booking and conducting 3-4 customer visits per day. The majority of your working hours will be spent with customers to understand their specific needs and to present the best technical solutions in areas such as pressure and level measurement. Furthermore, you will collaborate with a competent team consisting of technical sales representatives, inside sales, and engineers. There is support available for technical customer dialogues and administrative tasks such as order management and quotation preparation, all to allow you to focus on meeting customers, building relationships, and closing deals!

Your main responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct visits with new and existing customers in your region.
  • Perform needs analyses and provide VEGA Level Pressure's customers with the best technical solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with companies in the process industry by suggesting the right technical solution in collaboration with other functions within VEGA.
About you

We are looking for someone with a technical background from studies and/or work with at least three years of relevant sales experience. You have experience in conducting physical customer visits, product demonstrations, and group presentations. We prefer candidates with experience in the entire sales process, preferably within the process industry, but above all, you have the desire and drive to become a high-performing salesperson! Furthermore, we are seeking candidates with empathetic interaction with our customers who strive for a 'win-win' and the further development of long-term and profitable partnerships. You have a good instinct and a decisive approach to new business opportunities, so that further growth can be generated. We also see that you have a confident and assertive demeanor with good negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
We are looking for someone who thrives on personal interactions, has a confident demeanor, and is committed to building trustful relationships. This will result in optimized processes for customers, demonstrating the added value of VEGA Level Pressure's relationships. Since long-term partnerships are important, we value your perseverance and also see that you are results-oriented and motivated to close deals successfully.

Key requirements for the position:

  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience.
  • A technical background and/or interest, either through education or work experience in the process industry.
  • A trust-building relationship builder who is motivated by satisfied customers and excellent results.
  • Driven by meeting customers, building relationships, and closing deals!
  • Good computer skills and quick to learn new systems.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and fluent in Swedish and English.

Preferred qualifications for the position:

  • Experience working within/towards the process industry.
