The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care is now looking for dedicated and driven nurses to join our wonderful team at the DKE/Postoperative and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Lindesbergs Hospital. We are seeking general nurses who are ready to develop in the role of a nurse by expanding their knowledge. Here, you will encounter a safe and warm atmosphere where we offer an exciting and varied work in a dynamic environment.

The Postoperative Department cares for patients who are both hospitalized and those who come in the morning and go home after recovering from surgery. The patients we serve come from the orthopedic, surgical, gynecology, ear clinic, and dental care departments.

The ICU is a special unit currently consisting of two beds. Here, critically ill patients requiring careful monitoring, advanced treatment, and specific care are treated. The ICU also cares for patients after major or complicated surgeries, and on weekends, it also functions as a monitoring unit after acute surgeries. As a nurse in the ICU, you will work alongside colleagues who are specialized in intensive care.

The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care operates at the region's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesbergs Hospital. It is a large department with approximately 400 employees. Our areas of work include anesthesia, intensive care, postoperative, and day surgery.

Lindesbergs Hospital is one of the three acute hospitals in Region Örebro County. Here, you will find all the advantages of a small hospital - a friendly and familiar atmosphere combined with efficiency and great expertise. The hospital has around 600 employees.

Qualifications

Registered nurse who wishes to further specialize in intensive care. Experience in acute care, pre- and postoperative care, and intermediate care is considered a merit.
