About the Job

Corner Burgers & Grill was founded in 1979, drawing inspiration from McDonald's and New York street food. Today, we are one of Sweden's oldest and largest privately owned hamburger restaurants. Over the years, we have built a loyal customer base.

We are a great team of about fifteen people who all share a love for good food prepared with that extra touch. As we are in an expansion phase, we are now looking for someone who wants to join us and contribute to the great atmosphere we have created at Agustenburg, Allén in Västervik alongside our visitors.

Working Hours

Corner's opening hours are Sunday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 AM, and on Saturdays, we are open until 4:00 AM. A full working day is between approximately 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM. A full evening shift is between 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM.

We are looking for both individuals who can work 4-5 days a week throughout the summer and those with a flexible schedule who can fill in as needed 2-3 days a week. We will start your training as soon as you are hired. Therefore, it is important that you can begin the training in the spring of 2025. You will then have the employment form 'extra vid behov'.

There are good opportunities for a permanent position after the summer.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and prep food such as making sauces, salads, and building burgers

Cash handling, drive-in, burger making

Unpack goods, open and close down the restaurant.

All staff members participate in ongoing cleaning.

Minimum age of 16, preferably with previous experience in the service or restaurant industry

Fluent in Swedish

Social, service-minded, and outgoing with a twinkle in your eye

Able to handle stress and accustomed to working at a fast pace in a small space
