About the Position

We are now looking for a supervisor for the caretaking department at Kläppen! Kläppen's caretaking department is part of Kläppen's lodging division where you work closely with the supervisors in owner services, bookings, reception, cleaning, and internal properties. Together, we work to ensure that our guests have a fantastic stay in the accommodation they have rented through Kläppen. The cottages and apartments managed by Kläppen are owned by private cottage owners or companies.

We are looking for someone who wants to lead and develop Kläppen's caretaking department and who has the ability and desire to create a team spirit where everyone works for each other and enjoys going to work. As a supervisor, you will work on structuring ongoing routines for the maintenance and upkeep of the accommodation so that the caretakers' work is carried out in a correct, smooth, and efficient manner. You support and work together with the caretakers in practical work both during and outside the season. You are responsible for the administrative handling of completed tasks in the maintenance system Fieldly where orders, work orders, and invoice documentation for completed work and services are registered. This area of responsibility also includes managing the inventory of the department's products, which includes ensuring that the right items are in stock at the right time, that the product is sold at the right price, product replenishments, and annual inventory.

You will also have contact with Kläppen's cottage owners regarding service orders from Kläppen's caretaking department, you will prepare calculations for quotations, and schedule services that are ordered.

You may be involved in projects related to Kläppen's internal properties and their development for the future.

Together with the Head of Lodging, you have budget and personnel responsibility for the department. As a caretaking supervisor, you are responsible for personnel planning and monitoring of worked hours. As a caretaking supervisor, you are part of the supervisor group for the Lodging division.

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a probationary period. Weekend work occurs during the seasons, and you are part of the caretaking department's on-call team. Selection and interviews are ongoing. Salary according to agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys being on-site, has a holistic view, and is solution-oriented. You enjoy leading and managing staff, finding smart ways to streamline both work routines and make the daily work easier for the caretakers. You will have contact with both cottage owners, guests, and contractors, so it is important that you enjoy meeting and working with people. As a leader with us, you have the ability to develop yourself, your employees, and the business towards the same goal - satisfied and returning cottage owners and guests, as well as well-maintained cottages and apartments at Kläppen! You are clear in your communication, confident in yourself, and see the value of knowledge and commitment in your employees and other colleagues. It is a plus if you have experience from similar operations in the past. We work in the Fieldly maintenance system and consider it a plus if you have worked in this, or a similar operations & maintenance system before.

Desired Background and Skills

  • Experience as a supervisor in the field previously.
  • Knowledge of calculating work efforts, time, and materials to create quotations.
  • Good skills in expressing yourself professionally in both speech and writing.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good skills in the Office package are a requirement.
  • A driver's license and access to a car are required.
  • You communicate fluently in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
