Capio Vårdcentral Nynäshamn is located in central Nynäshamn, a 10-minute walk from the commuter train station. We are a medium-sized healthcare center with nearly 12,000 listed patients. Due to our location about 6 miles from larger acute hospitals, we have a wide range of medical conditions, making the work stimulating and developing. In addition to the usual doctor and nurse receptions, our healthcare center also offers diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, and elderly receptions. Furthermore, the healthcare center also has a psychosocial reception, home care, and medical foot care.

At the healthcare center, we also have Capio Rehab, BVC, and BMM with whom we have a close collaboration. In the same building, there is Capio Geriatrics with direct admission, Evidia X-ray, and Karolinska Neurocare Laboratory.

We are looking for someone who primarily wants to work in our home care in close collaboration with our experienced nurses and assistant nurses. We offer a stable home care with about 160 registered patients living in both urban and rural areas.

As a doctor in home care, you will have the opportunity to work at the top of your competence based on a person-centered approach. The daily work is varied and includes both acute and planned medical assessments, responsibility for medication reviews, and well-functioning teamwork with other professionals.

Challenges are part of the everyday life of a doctor. Here, we work purposefully to create the best possible conditions for long-term learning and a sustainable work environment. Working as a specialist in general medicine with us involves investigating and treating patients in the clinic and in our home care. Rounds and close dialogue take place between our different professional categories.
