Information about the position

The assignment is part of our temporary staffing. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Saint-Gobain for 6 months. Saint-Gobain is a world-leading player in urban development. They develop and manufacture high-performance building materials and create innovative solutions to challenges such as growth, energy efficiency, and climate change. The factory in Bålsta has paved the way for environmentally friendly production and was the first in the world to produce plasterboards using 100% renewable energy, including biogas and hydropower.

Responsibilities

As a maintenance specialist at Saint-Gobain, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing maintenance plans for equipment and machinery. This with a focus on safety and efficient operation. The position is mainly administrative, but you will continuously be in the production environment where you conduct research, inspect equipment, and gather information.

Other tasks included in the position are to:

• Be responsible for developing and administering maintenance plans, including determining maintenance intervals and creating necessary documentation
• Conduct research and review machine directives and manufacturer's instructions
• Review existing PM and AM
• Work closely with technicians and engineers to gather the right information and ensure that existing maintenance plans are effective

We are looking for someone who

• Has work experience in a role as a maintenance technician or similar
• Has an administrative inclination
• Has good knowledge of the English language

It is a plus if you have experience with SAP.

We also believe that your personal qualities are important for you to thrive in the job. You possess a high level of self-control, are meticulous, structured, and communicative.
