Setra is one of Sweden's largest wood industry companies, employing around 800 people. The group includes seven sawmills, two processing units – one of which is located in the UK, a head office and sales offices in Sweden, as well as seven different sales offices abroad. The facilities manufacture sawn and processed timber products, as well as bioproducts, from spruce and pine sourced from Swedish forests. Setra Heby Sawmill

The Setra Heby sawmill, located fifty kilometers west of Uppsala, has around 90 employees. The unit produces sawn timber for delivery to industrial customers, house manufacturers, laminated timber factories, and lumber yards.

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for an industrial electrician for immediate start who enjoys challenges and wants to help develop maintenance work at Setra. You will be part of a shift team and as an industrial electrician, you will primarily work with preventive maintenance, continuous improvement work, and troubleshooting. The employment is permanent and starts with a 6-month probationary period.

The position is currently scheduled for I2 shifts (morning shift from 06:00 to 15:00 and evening shift from 15:00 to 00:00). However, the position will transition to K2 shifts, which means you will work every third weekend. On-call duty is included in the position. This means you should live within approximately 30 minutes' notice to Setra Heby.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a vocational college education or high school education focused on electrical work, and you likely have several years of experience as an industrial electrician. You have good skills in reading technical drawings and are accustomed to maintaining electrical documentation. You, who are applying for the position, have good computer skills and knowledge of PLCs. General authorization is an advantage, and we see that you have a B driver's license with access to your own car.

As a person, you are curious, meticulous, and social. Switching quickly between different tasks is no problem for you, and you thrive in a varied work role. Furthermore, we see that you are positive, social, and sincere, and you place great value on good dialogue.
