Setra is one of Sweden's largest wood industry companies, employing around 800 people. Setra Heby Sawmill

The Setra Heby sawmill, located fifty kilometers west of Uppsala, has about 90 employees. The unit produces sawn timber for delivery to industrial customers, house manufacturers, laminated timber factories, and lumber yards.

Your Tasks

We are now looking for an industrial electrician to start immediately who enjoys challenges and wants to help develop maintenance work at Setra. You will be part of a shift team, and as an industrial electrician, you will primarily work with preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting. The employment is permanent and begins with a 6-month probationary period.

The position is currently scheduled for I2 shifts (morning shift 06-15 and evening shift 15-00). However, the position will transition to K2 shifts, which means you will work every third weekend. On-call duty is included in the position. This means you should live within approximately 30 minutes' notice to reach Setra Heby.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a vocational college education or high school education focused on electrical engineering, and you likely have several years of experience as an industrial electrician. You have good skills in reading technical drawings and are accustomed to maintaining electrical documentation. You have good computer skills and PLC knowledge. General authorization is an advantage, and we expect you to have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

You are curious, meticulous, and social. You can quickly switch between different tasks and thrive in a varied work role. Furthermore, we see that you are positive, social, and value good dialogue.
