About us

Närhälsan Gullspång Health Center is one of the public healthcare centers in Västra Götaland, with a catchment area of approximately 2700 listed patients.

The health center is characterized by a family-friendly atmosphere, pleasant premises, good cohesion, and a good working environment. We provide both acute and planned care, including district doctor's office, district nurse's office, child health center, maternity care, and laboratory. We collaborate with the county healthcare, Närhälsan's rehabilitation center, and the municipality.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center cover a wide range and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You work independently and alternately with reception work. Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist, who supports you and exchanges knowledge. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities. If you are interested in a free and varied job with the patient where your and your colleagues' working environment is in focus, this job is for you.

You will have allocated time to participate in the seminars offered or time for your own studies, and you will also participate in the health center's and doctor group's meetings. Your individual study plan is drawn up together with your supervisor and study director.

About you

You are a licensed doctor with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. You have a great interest in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish in speech and writing at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and has a good approach because you will meet many different patients at the health center. You enjoy teamwork, and it is natural for you to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

For those who have trained as doctors abroad and have not completed their internship in Sweden to obtain a medical license, you are covered by the new regulations regarding Basic Service from July 1, 2021. Basic Service for doctors (BT) is a mandatory initial part of the specialization service in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means that you need to do BT before or as the initial part of your ST.
