Your role with us

As a Power Engineer at Boliden Electro, you are an important part of our technical team and work closely with colleagues to ensure quality and reliability in our project deliveries. You will work with everything from CAD and relay protection to sizing, testing, and commissioning – with a clear responsibility throughout the technical flow.

You will primarily design medium voltage systems and follow projects from the design stage to testing and commissioning. The role also involves providing technical support to our sales organization and our production units.

Our work often takes place in close dialogue with customers, which requires good communication, collaboration skills, and a genuine interest in technology. You will also have contact with other units in the group and perform remote support or travel as needed.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Design and construction of medium voltage systems.
• Testing, verification, and control before delivery.
• Settings and handling of relay protection.
• Sizing of cables and electrical connections.
• Technical support to sales and production organizations.
• Customer dialogue to understand needs and create solutions.
• Participation in the development and implementation of new technology.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in Power Engineering.
• 2 years of experience working with power solutions (either as an engineer or electrician)
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form
• Driver's license (B)

Preferred:

• Experience in the mining industry
