Your Workplace

The operations are primarily located at the Women's Clinic at Centralsjukhuset in Karlstad. Our catchment area covers the entire Värmland County. In 2024, we helped approximately 2300 children into the world. We conduct a large outpatient and surgical operation within obstetrics, benign gynecology, gynecological oncology, and tumor surgery.

The medical team has a strong focus on working in teams around patients. We are the only operating entity in Värmland County, which provides the opportunity for continuity in patient care, from outpatient visits, possible surgery, and aftercare.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you will work with standard tasks within outpatient gynecology. There are opportunities to tailor the position based on competence and interest. You are expected to mentor less experienced colleagues. In addition to daily work, there is the opportunity to participate in process groups focused on employee-driven improvement work. The degree of employment can be discussed. There is an opportunity for on-call duty if desired.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed specialist doctor or senior physician in obstetrics and gynecology, with an interest in outpatient gynecology. You are a person with a strong interest in developing knowledge and skills and have a good ability to work in a team. Furthermore, you are proactive, responsible, and also have the ability to work independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
