Your Workplace
We are an elective unit with a primary mission in orthopedics.
The unit consists of a care department and an outpatient clinic. We care for hip and knee replacements, as well as spinal patients within orthopedics. We also care for patients from other departments who are to undergo planned examinations/treatments. We take care of patients preoperatively at the Admission Center and follow them through the entire care process, as well as meeting them at the wound clinic for follow-up visits.
We have a well-functioning teamwork with many professionals involved in the daily operations to help each patient regain their previous abilities as much as possible.
We can offer continuous training and time allocated for your own areas of responsibility. We actively work with health-promoting initiatives. In our unit, we are constantly working to develop and improve; if you are interested in development work, you will fit in well with us!
Your Responsibilities
With us, you will work in a positive work environment in a team with a mix of both newer and more experienced staff. We work in teams with various professions.
As a nurse with us, you will be responsible for medication management, rounds, as well as preoperative and postoperative care. We work with patients of different ages and care needs, and we offer you a pleasant work environment with stimulating tasks!
We can offer you a permanent position with a 100% workload. We are a weekly department that is open 24/7 from Monday to Friday.
Your Skills/Competencies
We are looking for a licensed nurse who has worked for at least one year in the profession. Previous experience in orthopedics and/or night shifts is an advantage.
Important qualities for us are that you can easily adapt to changing circumstances, can quickly change perspectives and attitudes. You have the ability to understand others' perspectives and work well with others. You are a responsible and positive person with a professional attitude who appreciates working in a team. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities that promote good interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues!
