Here, about 550 employees work with dental and oral health for the people of Värmland of all ages. The clinic consists of two units in Arvika and Åmotfors, where several specialized colleagues work. In Arvika, we have an orthodontic clinic and panoramic X-ray on the same floor, with easy access to specialists within the organization. In the northern part of the municipality, we also utilize a newly built dental room adjacent to SÄBO and the primary school in Charlottenberg.

In total, 52 employees work at both units, and we have 10,100 adult patients and 6,960 children and young people. Here, you will work within your entire competence and with both child and adult patients. Every year, there is an opportunity to take courses and participate in various networks. Arvika, often called the "capital" of western Värmland, is a charming and pleasant small town. Your Responsibilities

As a dental hygienist, you will perform all tasks within the profession. This means treating your own patients in child and adult dental care with examinations, disease treatment measures, and preventive dental care. You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team dental care includes, for example, joint examinations, impressions, and filling therapy, and there are good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities. We collaborate with the municipality's schools and elderly care through external activities, such as training and outreach work.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed dental hygienist with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You take responsibility for your tasks, structure your work, and drive processes forward. Working well with others and relating to them in a responsive and smooth manner is important. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. A calm, attentive, and accommodating approach is crucial. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Since the work is conducted in two locations, a B driver's license is required.
