Your Workplace

Folktandvården Årjäng is a friendly, bright, and open clinic with a wide range of expertise among the staff.

We visit and provide treatments at schools and nursing homes with mobile equipment. At the clinic, we are 12 staff members treating 2,800 adults and 2,470 children and young people.

We are a cheerful team striving towards common goals and continuous development. Our patient clientele consists of both children and adults. We tackle the challenges we face together and celebrate our successes together - together we can achieve anything.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job primarily consisting of assistance, sterilization, and reception work. If you are interested, there is also the opportunity for your own areas of responsibility, such as prophylaxis with your own patients and other delegated tasks like taking impressions. The tasks are varied within both adult and pediatric dentistry.

It is important to us that our customers feel satisfied after a visit, and therefore we place great emphasis on service and interaction. If you are at the beginning of your career, you will receive excellent support from your new colleagues. Additionally, we provide you with a great start to your new career as you will participate in Folktandvården's comprehensive introductory program, which combines theory with practical work.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone with a dental nurse education. Previous experience, especially with your own patient work, is an advantage, but not a requirement. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, and since the position may involve travel, you need to have a B driver's license. As a person, you are relationship-oriented and easily create contact with both patients and colleagues. You are self-sufficient by taking responsibility for your tasks and are meticulous. You have an empathetic ability and enjoy collaborating in a team.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest.
