Folktandvården Årjäng is a friendly, bright, and open clinic with a wide range of competencies among its staff.

Additionally, we visit and provide treatments at schools and nursing homes with mobile equipment. Living and working in Årjäng suits those who prefer a quieter lifestyle, but there are good and frequent connections to Karlstad, Oslo, and Stockholm. We have 12 employees, and we serve 2800 adult patients as well as 2470 children and young people.

Here, you will work within your full competency and with both child and adult patients. Each year, there are opportunities to attend courses and participate in various networks. We care about your work environment and ensuring that everyone enjoys being part of the team.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include all tasks associated with the profession of a dental hygienist. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat your own patients in both child and adult dental care, conducting examinations, disease treatment measures, and preventive dental care. You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team-based care includes, for example, joint examinations, impressions, filling therapy, etc., and there are also good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities. We collaborate with the municipality's schools and elderly care through external activities such as training and outreach.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed dental hygienist with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You take responsibility for your tasks, organize your work, and drive processes forward. Working well with others and relating to them in a responsive and smooth manner is important. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. A calm, attentive, and accommodating demeanor is crucial. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. A B driver's license is a requirement.
