Location: Finspång (on-site at least 3 days/week)

Scope: Consulting assignment via Manpower

Do you want to work with high-tech systems in gas turbine technology? We are now looking for an experienced and curious mechanical designer for a consulting assignment with one of our industrial clients in Finspång. Here, you will be part of a competent team working on the design and development of acoustic packages and gearbox systems related to gas turbines.

You will work with systems related to:

• Combustion air intake
• Turbine enclosures
• Ventilation systems
• Exhaust systems
• Electrical and control modules

About the role

Your tasks will vary, and you will be involved in the entire project chain. Examples of tasks include:

• Developing system-specific designs in close collaboration with other technical areas
• Creating and reviewing technical solutions and specifications
• Engaging in technical and commercial dialogue with suppliers and purchasing
• Participating in design reviews and providing technical support to project management
• Supporting the workshop during installation and contributing to assembly and commissioning on-site

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a good technical understanding and a structured approach to work. You are used to collaborating across different functions and have a solution-focused mindset.

Language skills:

• Very good knowledge of English
• Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement

Preferred experiences (not required):

• CAD design
• System design in, for example, COMOS
• Knowledge of KKS and/or ISA standards
• Experience in technical project management or project responsibility

Other

The assignment requires on-site presence in Finspång at least 3 days a week. When applying, we would like to receive a brief presentation of yourself as a person - not just technical merits.
