Your Responsibilities

To secure the competence of future engineers, we conduct this trainee program over 12 months. The trainee program offers you the opportunity to alternate training with practical work on quality issues within our customer projects. You will receive training and knowledge about Siemens Energy's organization, systems, processes, and working methods, etc. You will work with people from all over the world and have the opportunity to develop and deepen your interest in technology and quality. You will be employed by Skill and belong to a Siemens Energy Hub with other trainees. When the trainee program ends, you will continue working in the regular operations in the same role you had as a trainee in Finspång. The program starts in the autumn of 2025. We are looking for engaged quality engineers who want to join the team! As a quality engineer within project operations, you can work broadly with everything from project management in quality, ensuring that project-specific design requirements are integrated into our products together with contractors and purchasers. Participate in or conduct inspections in our own factories, as well as with our suppliers primarily located in Europe to ensure the project's quality requirements.

During the trainee year, you will try out several different roles within project quality in four-month periods so that you get a good overall picture. How you will make an impact: 

• Support and guide project management in all quality issues in ongoing deliveries.
• Lead your own quality team to fulfill our commitments to customers.
• By working systematically together with design and purchasing, we can collectively reduce risk exposure in our projects.
• Act as the main contact between our subcontractors and our project teams, and create a strong quality mindset in these interfaces.
• Create satisfied customers during visits to our production or assembly during various inspections and tests.
• Conduct planning meetings with subcontractors to ensure that everyone has the same expectations regarding quality requirements.

Your Profile

• Master's degree or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail and accuracy.
• You are a team player with social skills and the ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
