Senior Electromechanical Assembler

About the Role

We are now looking for a Senior Electromechanical Assembler for our client's production unit in Malmö. You will work with the manufacturing and assembly of switchgear, automation cabinets, and control centers for electrical installations. The role involves both technical responsibility and mentorship, where you contribute to developing both production and your colleagues.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a senior assembler, you are expected to take responsibility for:

• Performing assembly according to drawings and work orders
• Ensuring and documenting any drawing changes in consultation with project management/designer
• Conducting and documenting self- and quality inspections
• Actively contributing to improvements in processes and workflows
• Introducing and training new employees within the assembly team

This is a full-time position located at our client's site in Malmö. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00. StudentConsulting manages the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by the client company.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with:

• Several years of experience in electromechanical assembly, primarily switchgear, automation cabinets, and control cabinets
• Good experience in reading drawings (both electrical and mechanical)
• Practical experience in copper processing (bending, cutting, punching)
• Familiarity with brands such as Cubic, Tabula, or equivalent is an advantage
