Maintenance Manager for Limhamn

What does the role of Maintenance Manager entail?

You have overall responsibility for the maintenance of the facility and are responsible for the long-term development of the machinery and property regarding capacity, operational reliability, and efficiency. You work to create conditions for optimal use of the facility and achieve positive results, analyze operations, develop improvements together with the staff, and follow up on the work.

The operations are linked to many different laws and regulations, and your responsibility includes ensuring that the facility operates in accordance with these and that changes are implemented effectively.

Another important part of your work is to drive safety efforts at the facility in close collaboration with production. This is reflected in how work is carried out at the facility and that it is continuously and systematically followed up from a work environment perspective, but also in building a safety culture that permeates all work.

You also play a very active role in all projects related to machines, installations, and our property.

More specifically, the role entails:

• Maintenance/operation of property, ventilation, chemical handling, and boiler/steam
• Work within plumbing, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics
• Responsible for fire protection work and ensuring that the operations comply with applicable safety regulations and guidelines
• Planning and follow-up of preventive maintenance
• Supervision of the maintenance department and participation in daily maintenance work
• Responsible for development discussions and skills development of maintenance technicians
• Promote a good work environment, continuously drive the implementation and application of risk assessments.
• Project management within your area of responsibility including some negotiation and quotation
• Purchasing within your area of responsibility

You will be responsible for 6 competent employees and be part of the management for production. You report to the Site Manager.

Who are you? We place great importance on your personal qualities, but to be considered for this role, we are looking for someone with work experience from a similar role with personnel responsibility and responsibility for a company's production equipment, preferably from a larger organization.

You are used to taking responsibility and are good at achieving your commitments. You find it easy to collaborate and create productive internal and external working relationships. What can you offer? Educationally, you probably have a background as a university or civil engineer, or you have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way. You must be proficient in English, both spoken and written, and have a B driver's license.
