RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operations technician, you will primarily work with processes as well as operational and maintenance tasks. You will be based at the Central Treatment Plant and work throughout the municipality with our wastewater facility. The work is varied, and based on your own responsibility, you have the opportunity to influence the organization of the work. In your daily routine, routine tasks are mixed with troubleshooting and problem-solving. On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a relevant university or vocational education, or a high school education combined with experience that is deemed equivalent to education by the employer. We want you to have work experience in operational technical work. If you have authorization for electrical work, we consider it an advantage.

Of course, you have a good ability to use digital tools as instruments to search for information, plan, communicate, present, document, and report, as well as to write clearly, concisely, and well-structured. The work therefore requires that you can communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. You need to have a B driver's license to easily get around our municipality when needed.

As a person, you are unpretentious and have an easy time working with people, which means you can listen, show empathy, and respect. You have the ability to carefully analyze and assess different types of data to draw well-considered conclusions and create functional solutions. Additionally, you are good at following instructions, guidelines, and legal requirements, while always adhering to schedules and deadlines.

OTHER

The Technical Committee is responsible through the technical administration for the development, construction, and management of the municipality's public spaces and buildings. The committee also has the task of organizing municipal water and sewage supply (VA) and is the road authority for the municipal roads.
