As a local manager in Trelleborg, you have the opportunity to participate in various development projects across several areas. The buses in Trelleborg are of mixed brands and have different fuels such as electric, CNG, and diesel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of workshop manager, you will divide your time between working operationally in the workshop as a bus mechanic and supervising other mechanics. You are responsible for continuously planning for both long-term goals and daily operations, as well as urgent events. Your overarching goal is to ensure that traffic can run according to schedule and agreements and that the necessary buses are available and in good condition.

You will have an active dialogue with traffic management, your workshop manager colleagues, your immediate supervisor, and other stakeholders to ensure operations. Everyone has their given role and is of great importance for the overall assignment to be delivered.

There is a clear expectation that you will develop your team with increased collaboration both internally and within the region. You will be responsible for 4 mechanics.

You will be an active member of the management team for Service in Skåne with colleagues who have a strong interest in technology and a constant desire to develop the operations. You will report to the area manager based in Malmö.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Automotive technical education or many years of experience in the industry
• Experience in the bus industry or bus workshop
• Experience from a similar operational environment or smaller carrier
• Experience with a coaching approach and developing others
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing
• Familiarity with Office 365 and diagnostic tools
• Category B and D driving licenses; otherwise, we will provide training through an educational contract

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience with operational and/or financial systems
• Experience in a leadership role, such as supervisor, project manager, or managerial role
