Becoship has been working with customs clearance, ship brokerage, and freight forwarding in Karlshamn for over 40 years. We currently have 4 employees at our office located in Stillerydshamnen. We offer a position with varied tasks within freight forwarding and ship clearance. The freight forwarding involves work with warehousing and document management, and as a ship agent, you represent the vessels and shipping companies during vessel arrivals and handle contact with the port, pilots, and other services that the vessels require. Both roles require a high level of service and a good understanding of customer needs.

Previous experience in the logistics industry, ship clearance, or freight forwarding is advantageous. The position requires good organizational skills, and great emphasis is placed on teamwork and personal suitability. As we strive for an even age distribution, we welcome younger applicants.

The shipping industry is an international environment, therefore, in addition to Swedish, very good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form is required. Good knowledge of MS Office is also a requirement. Local knowledge of Karlshamn and its surroundings is beneficial for the work. The position also includes some on-call duties and travel. A driver's license is required.

A probationary period of 6 months applies. Start date by agreement.
