Licensed Psychologist at AnorexiBulimiCenter in Västervik

At AnorexiBulimiCenter in Västervik, you will be part of a team with a broad professional composition.

You will investigate, diagnose, and treat eating disorders. The treatment work is primarily individual therapeutic, but the clinic also offers group treatments. The unit has a tradition of researching and participating in various research projects.

The target group includes children, adolescents, adults, and their families. The unit has a multidisciplinary team where representatives from different treatment approaches and special expertise collaborate. We have psychologists, social workers, doctors, dietitians, nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries. Each employee contributes with their special competence.

In connection with our adaptation to national guidelines for eating disorder care, we work with CBT-E, where CBT tools for breaking behavioral patterns related to food, body, and exercise can also be complemented with other treatment interventions such as IPT, DBT, ACT, and EFT when appropriate. When it comes to children and adolescents, we primarily work with family-based treatment.

The position within ABC is 50%. If a higher employment rate is desired, this can be offered at another unit.

About You

We are looking for a licensed psychologist. Previous work experience in psychiatry and the eating disorder field is an advantage.

If you do not have experience working with eating disorders, the employer offers training in the area.

ABC consists of day activities and a clinic in Västervik and Kalmar. We have Region Kalmar County as our catchment area. We are part of the psychiatric administration in Region Kalmar County. The administration employs a total of 600 staff members in specialist psychiatric care for adults, children, and adolescents, forensic psychiatric care, and rehabilitation care.
