As a Welding Specialist at Goodtech AB, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the development of welding processes in complex projects in an international environment!

The role is located in a growing market area for Goodtech. The main focus is on solutions within digital production, currently strongly oriented towards projects for digitally driven manufacturing of larger steel structures.

As a welding specialist, you play a key role in the development of welding processes. You will act as technical support during sales and in customer dialogues. Other examples of tasks may include:

• Responsible for the development and optimization of welding processes
• Contributing to the development of automated solutions in robotic welding
• Selection of equipment and welding methods
• Ensuring that welding is performed according to applicable standards and quality requirements
• Participation from feasibility study to implementation at the customer
• Training and supporting customers or colleagues in welding and welding automation
• Developing tests and quality assurance of welded products

Location: Karlstad or Gothenburg
Travel is required, mainly within Europe.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in robotic welding and welding automation
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of materials technology and welding standards
• Experience working with welding/robot software and digitized welding processes
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience with PLC and supervisory systems
• IWS and/or IWT
• Experience from automated welding processes in heavy industry or automotive

• Analytical and solution-oriented with a commercial mindset and the ability to contribute in the sales phase of projects.
• Communicative and collaborative, enabling you to successfully work cross-functionally in large and technically complex projects.
• Innovative and forward-thinking with a strategic understanding of industrial processes.
