We are now looking for a Field Service Technician who wants to develop!
Initially, you will work at our facility in Landvetter to get to know our products and our ways of working. After a while, you will travel and perform service work at our customers' sites.
Service work includes repairs, inspections, installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of compressors, both on land and at sea.

Your days with us will be varied and include the following:
* On-site in Landvetter, perform repairs of compressor units with associated components and process component parts in accordance with related drawings and regulations.
* At customer sites in various parts of Northwestern Europe, perform inspections of compressors with accessories. Maintenance, disassembly, and reassembly of compressor parts such as compressor valves, high-pressure seals, etc. The work is performed onshore/offshore.
* Ensure regular and prompt technical reporting and communication of all workshop and service work in our systems.
* Be responsible for ensuring that Burckhardt Compression's quality, health, safety, and environmental policy, as well as customer standards on-site, are adhered to.

We are looking for someone who
* Has a technical high school education, which is a requirement, or a vocational training with a focus on mechanics.
* Broad knowledge in mechanics; knowledge of piston technology is an advantage.
* Experience in machining work, especially manual lathes.
* At least 3 years of experience from a workshop or field technician role.
* Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently.
* Familiar with systems, MS Office, CRM, and business systems.
* Forklift license is an advantage.
