ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for an electrical engineer/designer on behalf of AFRY for their office in Stenungsund. Here you will work within the section for electrical, instrumentation, and automation within AFRY's Process Industries division. The section primarily works within the process industry, where projects are driven either in-house from AFRY's office or at our customers in the process industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

As an electrical engineer/designer, you will have a varied role where you will work with upgrades of existing facilities and participate in new projects. You will work in teams with support from senior colleagues and have the opportunity to develop in electrical design and construction.

• Perform calculations, design, and specifications, as well as prepare assembly and drawing documentation.
• Assist in dismantling, assembly, and testing of new equipment.
• Create layouts, inquiry documentation, and construction drawings.
• Replace and upgrade electrical equipment and update documentation according to current procedures.
• Assist with electrical design and contribute to project work using tools like AutoCAD.
• Update and revise existing electrical design drawings.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has post-secondary education in electrical engineering or automation, or secondary education with relevant experience.
• Has previous experience in electrical work and good computer skills.
• Has an interest in electrical design.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Has a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in the process industry.
• Experience in electrical design.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
