Kvinnokliniken is now offering a position as a Specialist Physician/Senior Physician in a medical team full of competence and commitment.

We have a process-oriented approach and work in teams together with midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries to meet our patients. Depending on your expertise, you will have varied responsibilities where you will work in labor, specialist maternity care, obstetric outpatient care, gynecological outpatient care, day on-call, and maternity care.

The position is a permanent employment at the women's clinic in Kalmar. On-call and backup on-call are included (depending on your expertise).

About You

We are now looking for someone who wants to complement our medical team at the Women's Clinic in Kalmar. You are a specialist physician or senior physician in obstetrics and gynecology. You will be part of the on-call operations (primary on-call and/or backup on-call) based on your expertise.

Your Future Workplace

At the Women's Clinic, over 200 employees work. The clinic consists of Maternity Care, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. We work with labor and postpartum care, gynecology, specialist maternity care, and maternity care. In Labor/Postpartum, mothers and children are cared for during childbirth, as well as pregnant women with pregnancy complications from week 22. We have about 1400 deliveries per year. Labor and postpartum are located together, and we work jointly to offer the best care. Specialist maternity care conducts most ultrasound examinations during pregnancy and meets pregnant women with complicating medical conditions. The gynecological part focuses on gynecological diseases, benign and malignant, as well as treatments for early pregnancy complications up to week 21. Maternity care includes pregnancy monitoring, parent groups, contraceptive counseling, gynecological cytology screening, and youth clinic services.

The Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postpartum care. Here, over 2300 people work to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
