About you

For this position, we are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You are a person who feels secure in yourself and enjoys taking initiative and learning new things. As care can change rapidly, both regarding patients' conditions and workload, it is important that you have the ability to work systematically and prioritize your work when needed. You contribute to our shared work environment through your team spirit and humble, constructive approach. Experience in stroke care is an advantage, but we also warmly welcome newly graduated nurses as you have great opportunities to acquire a broad and specialized competence within the medical field at our clinic. Department 6, the stroke unit, will have 12 care places where the focus will be on stroke, neurology, but also general internal medicine. The medical clinic in Västervik conducts qualified internal medicine operations available around the clock for our residents aged 18 and older. The clinic has inpatient wards, a dialysis clinic, and two medical outpatient clinics where all specialist clinics are represented. Outpatient care is also provided in the wards, such as cardiology and Västervik hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with maternity care and a maternity ward. At Västervik hospital, there are jobs for those who want to develop in their role alongside friendly colleagues.
