Oncology Day Care in Kalmar is looking for a nurse

The position is initially a fixed-term employment for 7 months with a possibility of extension. As a nurse with us, you will have a job to develop in, with adjustments based on your competence. We offer all nurses an individual introduction program. This means you will be assigned a mentor to follow at the beginning. Usually, you start your introduction as a treating nurse. The work as a treating nurse involves administering antitumor treatments to our patients. The daily work largely consists of facilitating the treatment journey for our patients. In your work, you need to involve the entire team at the clinic, but you also work independently and make your own assessments regarding treatments and self-care advice. The balance between independent work and teamwork is an important part of our culture. Together with the patient, you are on your own, but behind each patient is the entire team.

To develop and take further steps in your role, there are great opportunities for tasks such as coordinator, reception nurse, and TeleQ nurse. The goal is for all nurses to be able to work in all positions after the introduction is complete.

Oncology is constantly evolving, and the need is increasing by about ten percent annually. The oncology clinic in Kalmar strives to be a leading clinic. Despite being a smaller clinic in size, we are constantly making progress. About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse who puts the patient in focus. Experience in patient-centered care, especially oncology care, is an advantage. To thrive with us, you must enjoy meeting critically ill patients and be driven by facilitating and helping. It is crucial to understand that sometimes it is not always the big things that are needed, but it can also be the small concerns that the patient wants help with.
