Registered Nurse at the Adult Psychiatric Clinic in Oskarshamn

We are a broad psychiatric outpatient clinic that handles all categories of psychiatric patients.

Patients seeking specialist care for issues such as anxiety and depression, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, addiction issues, and neuropsychiatric diagnoses come to us. Here, you will work with all patient categories.

Our clinic is divided into four interdisciplinary teams consisting of doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, caregivers, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. The team forms a basis for the work, but the work is independent and relies on collaboration between colleagues and care partners.

As a nurse with us, you will work with medication follow-ups, individual conversations/treatment, group therapy, and Tele Q. You will work daytime, Monday to Friday.

The majority of the work is done at the clinic, but home visits also occur. You plan your own work and therefore have great freedom in deciding which days of the week you choose to conduct home visits. Our catchment area includes Oskarshamn, Högsby, and Mönsterås.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse who enjoys working solution-focused. It is advantageous if you have further education in psychiatry and experience with psychotic patients. If you have basic psychotherapy training, this is also a merit.

The role requires you to have excellent collaboration skills, be responsible, work independently, and have the ability to plan your own work. Teamwork is highly valued here, so it is important that you are a good team player; that you want to contribute to good cooperation and a positive work environment. Good ability to collaborate with care partners and to coordinate various treatment efforts is also a prerequisite for success in the role.
