Your work includes telephone counseling, which means you make medical assessments, give advice, and help patients to the right healthcare provider. Reception work is also included, where there is an opportunity to start and take responsibility for a specific area based on interest and competence according to the assignments available in the health choice. We have specialist clinics in areas such as asthma/COPD, dementia, diabetes, care coordination, and lifestyle. We conduct continuous development and improvement work, and as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your work and your work situation. You will be offered regular professional meetings.

The position is a temporary contract for approximately 1 year, extending over the summer of 2026. There may be a possibility for extension.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. If you are a specialist trained in district nursing, that is an advantage. We prefer that you have experience in primary care or other reception work within healthcare.

You are confident in yourself and your role as a nurse/district nurse and take responsibility in your work. You can work both independently with responsible tasks and also function well in various team settings. Having a good attitude towards patients and colleagues is a given for you, and you have a genuine interest in helping others. You should be able to structure your work efficiently, setting and adhering to deadlines.

The health center is located in central Nybro, within walking distance to and from the station. Working hours are mainly daytime Monday to Friday, with some duties at our weekend-open health center in Nybro.
