You will collaborate with colleagues from different professions to help develop the future of psychiatry. Working in cooperation with healthcare partners, municipalities, and other rehabilitation actors is seen as an important part of our work. You will meet people at different stages with various psychiatric diagnoses.

The physiotherapeutic work involves assessment, functional evaluation, intervention, and evaluation. You initiate and carry out physiotherapeutic interventions in harmony with the patient and other involved parties. Knowledge transfer is an important part of the job. You work with treatment from a holistic perspective. Treatment is planned and conducted based on the patient's needs and can be done individually or in groups.

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with an interest in working with psychiatric issues. Previous work experience in the field is an advantage.

You have knowledge and experience working with Basic Body Awareness.

You are an engaged person who is confident in yourself and enjoys sharing and receiving new knowledge and experiences. You have good pedagogical skills. You are self-driven, structured, and see collaboration as a given. You want to contribute to creating a good work environment and find development and innovation exciting and positive.

Your Future Workplace

Our team consists of five occupational therapists, one physiotherapist, and one occupational therapy assistant. The workplace is located together with the rest of psychiatry in our newly built psychiatry house in a pleasant environment where we have bright, spacious staff areas with views over Kalmarsund and Öland.

Adult Psychiatry South consists of a psychiatric emergency department, inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics.
