Auctionet is a marketplace where auction houses from Sweden, the UK, Finland, Spain, Germany, and Denmark sell furniture, art, design items, collectibles, and much more.

We are now looking for a self-driven, service-minded, and detail-oriented student who wants to work with us as a finance assistant on an as-needed basis during the spring (approximately 15-25 hours a week) starting as soon as possible. During the summer, weeks 26-34, the need will correspond to a full-time position (40 hours a week).

The position is part of the Payments team, which is responsible for daily reconciliations and payments for Auctionet's affiliated auction houses, as well as handling refunds for e.g. returns and cancellation rights. We work closely with the rest of the finance department at the head office in Stockholm. Here, we support each other, share knowledge, and help each other find the best solutions. A humble attitude is valued, where everyone contributes and where there is always room for questions and ideas.

• Daily handling of payments for the auction houses.
• Daily reconciliation of the auction houses' client funds accounts.
• Ongoing management of the auction houses' accounts receivable towards buyers and sellers.
• Handling of returns, cancellation rights, and insurance cases with associated refunds.
• Ongoing bookkeeping, invoicing, and similar tasks.
• Customer service via phone and email to Auctionet's affiliated auction houses and end customers, i.e. buyers and sellers of items.

• Student in finance/law or similar education.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and service-minded.
• Enjoys working independently as well as in a team.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form is required.
• Knowledge of German, Finnish, or Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Previous experience in the auction industry and interest in art and antiques is a plus, but not a requirement.
