About Us

Närhälsan Karlsborg health center is looking for a specialist doctor in general medicine who wants to help continue developing our health center.

If you want to work in a good team with a positive atmosphere, you should come to us. Närhälsan Karlsborg is a well-functioning rural health center with permanent staff, satisfied patients, and completely newly renovated and modern facilities.

We are constantly developing our operations to provide patients with good medical quality. We have a catchment area of about 7000 patients and a wide range of services including triage, child health care, mental health, laboratory, foot care, and home nursing. We also have a close collaboration with the rehabilitation unit and maternal health care.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center cover a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming atmosphere. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example through continuous education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed doctor and have specialist training in the field of general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good attitude. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work.
