JOB DESCRIPTION

Kriminalvården provides some open health and medical care, which means that all prisons and detention centers have medical clinics where inmates can seek care. In addition to nurses, there are general practitioners and psychiatrists at the clinics. As a nurse, you will have your own clinic for assessing minor ailments, but you will also evaluate which applicants should see a doctor. This means you will work with both somatic and psychiatric health care for the inmates, assist during doctor appointments, and administer medications primarily through dosage dispensing. Documentation is done in the PMO patient data journal.

In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have a high level of integrity and the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You are quality-conscious and meticulous, and you have the ability to structure your approach and drive your processes forward.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Licensed nurse
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious:

• A relevant specialization or further education for the employer, such as in psychiatry, emergency care, or outpatient care
• Work experience in the profession
• Relevant language skills
• Driving license B

OTHER

We have high demands on our employees' awareness of security and confidentiality. To work with us, you need to undergo a security screening in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
