Job Description

As a concrete worker, you will be responsible for performing various types of concrete work on construction sites. You are expected to have good knowledge of different concrete mixtures and working methods. You will work with heavy machinery and tools, and it is important that you can strictly follow safety regulations and workplace environment rules. You should be flexible and able to adapt to different work environments and methods.

This role requires you to be physically strong and have good endurance as the work can be demanding and involve long working hours. You should be meticulous, responsible, and have an eye for detail to ensure that concrete constructions are executed correctly.

Education and Certification

We are looking for an experienced concrete worker with solid education in construction and civil engineering. It is an advantage if you have completed vocational training in concrete work or have equivalent experience in the field. We prefer that you have relevant certificates and diplomas that validate your competence in concrete work.

You should have knowledge of different types of concrete materials and their properties, as well as experience working with casting and forming methods. It is important that you can handle various tools and machines used in concrete work. Additionally, it is desirable that you have knowledge of workplace environment regulations and safety standards in the construction industry.

We appreciate that you continuously keep yourself updated in your profession and are willing to participate in any further training or courses that can contribute to your professional development.

Experience

Applicants should have solid experience in concrete work, including casting, reinforcement, and forming. Experience working with different types of concrete and understanding various methods and techniques in the field is important. It is desirable that candidates have worked on concrete projects of various sizes and complexities previously.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of different types of concrete materials and their properties, as well as the ability to interpret drawings and work instructions accurately. Experience working with various tools and machines used in the concrete industry is also important. The ability to work independently or in a team, as well as to follow workplace safety and health regulations, is crucial.

Personal Qualifications

You should be physically strong and have a good work ethic to handle the sometimes demanding work in concrete work.
