Warehouse Staff with Focus on Procurement/Purchasing
We are now looking for warehouse staff with a focus on procurement/purchasing at the Supply Department in Karlskrona and hope that you will apply to us and become our new colleague. About the Unit
The Supply Department is part of the Logistics Unit, which plans, prepares, implements, and follows up all material supply and technical services for all units within the Garrison. The Supply Department consists of 3 sections: Service, Operational Organization, and Goods/Transport, whose purpose is to contribute to a stronger and more redundant defense force through well-functioning peace logistics and unit-close storage and supply for readiness increases and war. The department currently consists of about 60 people with mixed ages, skills, and backgrounds.
About the Section
The Service section is one of three sections within the Supply Department. The section currently consists of 20 employees. Daily tasks at the section include serving units within the Karlskrona garrison with personal equipment, clothing, laundry exchange, weapons, ammunition, procurement, etc. There are also some transport tasks of materials.
Main Responsibilities
The overarching work involves working with supply management. Primarily, you will handle the issuance/receipt and storage of specific materials to our customers. The work also includes other tasks within the Supply Department. We supply both our own unit and other units, so you will have contact with both internal and external customers. Most of our daily work is about ensuring that our core business, supply management, functions. To keep track of this, we use system support in the SAP environment as well as the Armed Forces' own system support LIFT.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Completed high school education or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as equivalent
- Previous experience in storage/warehouse/logistics
- Good computer skills
- Driver's license category B
Personal Qualities
You need to have good collaboration skills, good social skills with a high sense of service, solution-oriented, meticulous, and able to work both in a team and independently.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
MERITORIOUS
- Previous experience in procurement/purchasing and invoice management or equivalent tasks
- Previously worked as GSS (group leader, soldier, sailor)
- Driver's license categories C, BE, CE
- Experience with SAP/PRIO is highly meritorious
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' material processes

Employment form: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
