We are now looking for two leisure teachers, one of whom will focus on sports and health for Hunnebostrand and Bovallstrand schools.

As a leisure teacher in Sotenäs municipality, you will play a central role in creating an inspiring and safe environment for our students. You have the opportunity to influence and shape an operation where you actively contribute to children's development and learning through creative and fun pedagogical activities. Together with colleagues and parents, you work to give each child the best possible start, focusing on both individual needs and interests.

Responsibilities

As a leisure teacher, you will work together with your colleagues and plan and follow up on the leisure activities based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

In your role, you will:

• Design and lead pedagogical teaching that sparks creativity and learning.
• Build strong relationships with students and create an inclusive and positive atmosphere.
• Support students' social and emotional development in an engaging way.
• Be involved in driving development work and contribute your ideas to improve and develop the existing operation.
• Actively work to promote collaboration and participation between school and leisure activities.
• Be a role model in value-based work that contributes to a positive and inclusive culture for the whole at Hunnebostrand and Bovallstrand schools.

Qualifications

For the positions, we are looking for two driven educators with teaching certification and authorization to teach in leisure activities, one of whom also has authorization to teach sports and health.

If you have experience working as a leisure teacher, we consider it an advantage.

With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see the opportunities to support students' development throughout the school day and create a red thread between school and leisure activities. As a leisure teacher, you are engaged and have a relational approach with the ability to create motivating and inclusive teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific principles with an exploratory approach. You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operation by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
