What are you passionate about?

We are looking for a unique firebrand who wants to join us on our journey towards a sustainable future.

As an operations technician at Solör Bioenergi, you make a difference. Every day, you contribute to the delivery of district heating to hospitals, schools, industries, apartments, or houses. Thanks to waste from the forestry industry, we recycle and produce district heating with a lower environmental impact. Help contribute to a secure everyday life for the residents of Falköping and Mullsjö municipalities.

Solör Bioenergi's facilities in Falköping and Mullsjö municipalities provide district heating to approximately 1300 customers. This means that the business covers large parts of the residents' heating needs, and new customers join our network, which is constantly being expanded, every year. As we grow, we are now looking for you who want to create heat and energy for the residents of Falköping, Floby, Kinnarp, Stenstorp, and Mullsjö.

About the position

In the role of operations technician, you will get to burn. No... not just that, of course, but monitoring, coordinating, and optimizing the operations in the district heating plants and distribution systems is a significant part of the job. You handle fuels and optimize facilities to create optimal capacity in the best way possible. You continuously work with service and maintenance while ensuring that operations are conducted as safely and efficiently as possible. If something arises that prevents heat from being delivered, you are the one who steps in and works to both prevent and, if necessary, remedy acute operational disturbances. No day is the same in the role of Operations Technician.

You are analytical, structured, and accustomed to working with processes. Additionally, you are meticulous and stress-resistant and appreciate independent work just as much as collaborating with others.

Your interest in technology and mechanics is significant, and you thrive with freedom under responsibility. Perhaps you have a background in electrical/automation and seize every chance you can to learn something new. Since you also work closely with customers, suppliers, and contractors, you are a cheerful person who enjoys juggling many tasks.

It is a requirement that you have:

  • A valid driver's license (B) as on-call duty is included in the position.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language (both spoken and written) and the Office 365 programs.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience working in the fields of power/heat/energy production. Alternatively, experience from working in process industry, biogas, property management, water and sewage (VA/VVS), and/or agriculture.
  • Experience from work in service, maintenance, technology/mechanics.
  • Educational background equivalent to operations and/or maintenance technician or other technical education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience and knowledge in electrical and/or automation technology.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You are welcome to live near our operational area.
