Job Description

Service Technician at Swedsnus – Are You Our Next Technical Expert?

Swedsnus is looking for a Service Technician to strengthen our technical team and ensure that our production runs smoothly and efficiently. Are you a technically skilled person with experience in maintenance and repair of production equipment? Then this could be your next challenge!

Responsibilities:

As a Service Technician at Swedsnus, you will be an important part of our team and responsible for ensuring that our production machines and equipment function optimally. Your main responsibilities include:

• Maintenance and repair of production equipment and machines.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and taking prompt action to minimize downtime.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment and machines.
• Performing preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure the long-term functionality of the machines.
• Collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve technical issues affecting productivity.
• Ensuring that all equipment complies with applicable safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with production equipment, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Technical education in mechanics, automation, or similar.
• Troubleshooting and repair of machines and equipment is a significant part of the job, so experience in this area is highly desirable.
• Good technical understanding and the ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and drawings.
• The ability to work independently and systematically, as well as take initiative to solve problems.
• Flexibility and readiness to work as needed, such as shift work.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with Merz machines or other snus manufacturing machines.
