We are looking for troubleshooters with experience in two working methods: those who work systematically with documentation and those who are used to troubleshooting in situations where documentation is lacking. Whether you prefer clear instructions or a more independent and creative problem-solving approach, we have a place for you! You will be part of a competent and engaged team that supports you in your introduction and helps you quickly get into your work. You will play a key role in ensuring high quality and availability of our vehicles through preventive and corrective maintenance.

You will work shifts, which means either days, evenings, weekends, or night shifts. This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for our client. The assignment is for 6 months, and there are opportunities for direct employment thereafter, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Perform warranty repairs, troubleshooting, modifications, and commissioning of various vehicles.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance according to instructions to ensure high quality and availability of the vehicles.
• Work with complex systems and tackle a wide range of technical challenges across multiple areas.
• Follow electrical diagrams, drawings, and instructions to ensure accurate and precise work.
• Handle and work with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components and systems, providing an opportunity to broaden your skills.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Our client values passion and attitude over experience. Therefore, we do not expect you to have all the skills. Instead, we have listed some that we believe will help you succeed and grow in this role:

• Have education, experience, or a strong interest in vehicle electronics, vehicle technology, and troubleshooting.
• Have experience or knowledge of troubleshooting in the aviation, industrial, or automotive sectors, including repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and digital control systems.
• Have the ability to assemble electrical and mechanical components according to drawings and instructions.
• Familiarity with working with various types of software systems for troubleshooting.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in the railway industry, preferably as a train technician.
• An interest in software, with an understanding of how logical functions are built and how software uploads are performed.

Knowledge can be obtained through education, experience, or self-learning.
