What are you passionate about?

We are looking for a unique firebrand who wants to join us on our journey towards a sustainable future.

As an operations technician at Solör Bioenergi, you make a difference. Every day, you contribute to the delivery of district heating to hospitals, schools, industries, apartments, and houses. Thanks to waste from the forestry industry, we recycle and produce district heating with a lower environmental impact. Help contribute to a safe everyday life for the residents of society.

Solör Bioenergi's facility in Grästorp produces approximately 12 GWh per year and consists of a biomass boiler and an oil boiler for reserve and support during peak loads. In Såtenäs, we have a chip boiler and oil boilers for reserve that provide heat to the Armed Forces' air wing F7. We are now expanding production and therefore need a new Operations Technician who wants to be part of the journey.

About the position

In the role of operations technician, you get to burn. No... not just that, of course, but monitoring, coordinating, and optimizing the operation of the district heating plants and distribution systems is a major part of the job. You handle fuels and optimize facilities to create optimal capacity in the best way possible. You continuously work with service and maintenance while ensuring that operations are conducted as safely and efficiently as possible. If something arises that prevents heat from being delivered, you are the one who steps in and works to both prevent and, if necessary, remedy acute operational disturbances.

Who are you?

You are an engaged firebrand who wants a varied and meaningful job. You enjoy problem-solving and are willing to take initiative when you see something that can be addressed or improved. You are analytical, structured, and used to working with processes. Additionally, you are meticulous and stress-resistant, appreciating independent work as much as collaborating with others.

Your interest in technology and mechanics is strong, and you thrive with freedom under responsibility. We believe you are used to prioritizing safety and working in an independent and resource-smart way. Since you will be working in a small group, you find good collaboration important at work - both among colleagues and suppliers. Become a part of our team at schlättá!

It is a requirement that you have:

  • A valid driver's license (B) as on-call duty is included in the position.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language (both spoken and written) and Office 365 programs.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience working in the fields of power/heat/energy production. Alternatively, experience from work in process industry, biogas, property management, water and sewage (VA/VVS), and/or agriculture.
  • Experience from work in service, maintenance, technology/mechanics.
  • Educational background equivalent to operations and/or maintenance technician or other technical education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience and knowledge in electrical and/or automation technology.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You are welcome to live near our operational area.
