Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our services according to the needs of the residents. Already, we offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for a district nurse to join Samariterhemmet Health Center - welcome to us! We seek a district nurse with commitment, good collaboration skills, and drive, a colleague who wants to develop together with us at the health center. You will be part of our competent team that strives to offer effective and professional care. The position is a permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period applicable.

Your Mission

Your tasks include a varied role as a district nurse at the health center, such as assessing/helping patients in telephone counseling, via e-services, and in direct meetings in scheduled appointments. We actively work to improve patient flows through triaging and booking for all professions. We work in multiprofessional teams to provide effective care for our patients.

Your Competence

Licensed district nurse, preferably with experience from primary care. We are looking for someone who is positive, has a flexible working style, and good ability to collaborate with others in the team, while also having the experience and drive to work independently. We place great emphasis on the ability to develop the operations together with other professional categories at the clinic.

Our Operations

Samariterhemmet Health Center is located in central Uppsala, just a stone's throw from the Travel Center. Our health center is a large operation with about 13,800 registered patients. Together, we are over 80 employees, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented. The wide variety of patients creates a developing workplace.
