Our Operations

Here in the orthopedic rehabilitation department, a dedicated team has had the privilege of starting a new department together. We work from a person-centered and rehabilitative approach, which is the starting point in the meeting with the patient as well as in the development of the operation. We are now looking for more colleagues who are passionate about teamwork, focusing on each patient's unique circumstances and personal goals.

We are an inpatient department for patients with orthopedic diagnoses who have additional needs for care and rehabilitation after, for example, trauma, fractures, or prosthetic surgeries. The length of stay is usually between seven and ten days and is adjusted according to the patients' needs, and we have twelve beds in our department. Teamwork is central to the department, enabling a holistic view of the patient, individualized measures, and promoting patient safety. Together, we have daily check-ins in the team consisting of: nurses, nursing assistants, orthopedic surgeons, medical doctors, junior doctors, pharmacists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers.

We focus on healthy work schedules and hours, developing team rounds, person-centered care, daily management, and more. We work to streamline discharges and actively collaborate with our colleagues in the rest of the hospital, the Academic Hospital, and in the municipality.

Your Mission

As a nurse with us, you are an important piece of the puzzle in our person-centered care. You will also be involved in continuing to develop the operation. The nurses with us have a key role in the team and drive the development of this department. The goal is a nursing position where you, as a nurse, can influence your own, your colleagues', and your patients' journey within the hospital to be as safe, motivating, and stimulating as possible.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We prioritize if you have experience working in a hospital and appreciate a varied job, want to influence and develop the operation, and are an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment. If you enjoy working in a team based on a person-centered approach where the patient is involved in their care and rehabilitation, you are warmly welcome to apply.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position at 100% (or part-time) with a start date according to agreement. The work schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends. The Hospital in Enköping is a health-promoting hospital and therefore invests in wellness. This means you have a wellness allowance, access to a staff gym, and several free training activities.

As a new employee with us at the Hospital in Enköping, you will receive a solid and supportive start to your career.
