Our Operations

The Hematology section is part of the Department of Blood and Tumor Diseases. The section provides regional healthcare and highly specialized medical care. Hematology is responsible for the investigation and treatment of patients with benign and malignant blood diseases, including stem cell transplants. We have an inpatient department as well as an outpatient unit for outpatient treatment. In collaboration with Uppsala University, we conduct research, development, and education.

Your Mission

We need reinforcement on the junior doctor side during our vacation period, between June and August. Exact working periods can be discussed. The work primarily involves departmental duties under the supervision of an experienced consultant, but also support in other positions such as consultation or outpatient care may be included. In the department, you will care for seriously ill patients, often with acute leukemias or patients undergoing stem cell transplantation.

Your Qualifications

To qualify for the position, you must have completed at least nine semesters of medical education and have an interest in hematology. The rest we will solve when you are on site!
