The Role of Business Analyst
With us, you will develop into your best self through our concept BA by Nexer. You will have the opportunity to try different roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Architect, and Requirement Manager. We also offer training and certifications through Nexer Academy, as well as the chance to broaden your experience across various industries. Each year, we focus on a new area for skills development, and this year the theme is AI for Business Analysts.
As a Business Analyst, you will work on varied assignments with clients in the Gothenburg area, focusing on transforming ideas and strategies into real IT benefits. You will work closely with IT development teams and manage areas such as requirements specification, requirements analysis, documentation, process mapping, change management, and agile methodologies. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to understand complex environments, and the capability to work with multiple stakeholders to translate their needs into requirements. You will also facilitate workshops and proactively suggest solutions that create real value.
Are you our new colleague?
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 4 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Relevant university degree
- Experience with agile methods and practices
- Experience acting as a bridge between business and IT
- Documented experience in capturing and managing both functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience in facilitation/workshop leadership and process mapping
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and Azure DevOps
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is also advantageous if you have:
- Experience in requirements specification within CRM systems like Salesforce and ERP systems such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
- Experience and expertise in AI
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, IREB)
- Previous consulting experience and experience from industries such as automotive, medtech, and finance
