JOB DESCRIPTION

We are Gothenburg! Now we need you as a technical administrator with very good skills in networking for our team! Within the Digital Infrastructure department, about 260 employees work with the operation, management, and development of the City of Gothenburg's central IT environment. We have an important role in contributing to the digitization of the city's operations. Here is one of Sweden's largest and most modern data centers that houses the city's shared IT resources. Our suppliers are the industry's leading players and include HPE, BlueCat, Palo Alto, Algosec, F5, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and Commvault.

The IT Communication unit currently consists of 23 people and is responsible for network communication for the shared services that Intraservice provides in the City of Gothenburg.

Your focus areas will be to work with our F5 and Bluecat platforms. This means you should be able to further develop and work proactively with services and functions within Bluecat's solutions for DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM). You should be able to further develop services and functions within F5 including BIG-IP, LTM, ASM, and other security solutions. The work also includes support in the form of incident and case management, which means that work with other technologies such as routing and switching may occur.

Your role also includes working closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

• You will provide technical support and troubleshoot network-related issues.
• You are part of an administration responsible for ensuring that our processes are followed, updated, and, importantly; developed.
• You are an important part of handling second and third line cases and incidents.
• You may join the technical readiness group, which also includes evening and weekend work during service windows.
• You will also participate in various operational projects to ensure delivery.
• You are passionate about automation.

The position may include standby and work during service windows as needed. You will hold the position of systems analyst.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a university degree in IT or equivalent IT competence that the employer assesses as relevant. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and has broad experience working in data centers.

We are looking for someone who has worked with F5 and IPAM in an enterprise environment earlier in their career. To succeed in the role, you need solid experience from implementation and introduction of solutions at large companies/organizations. You have a strong understanding of network protocols and experience with security concepts such as SSL/TLS, WAF, and DDoS protection. You should have good scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, iRules/Tcl) and experience with Linux/Unix environments. Since you will work in a group where routing and switching are important segments for our service delivery, it is highly meritorious if you have experience in these areas.

The F5 and Bluecat platforms deliver to most of Intraservice's services. The demands from our customers are high and changing. Therefore, you should have high social competence and be comfortable speaking directly with both manufacturers and end customers as well as other units within Intraservice.

In addition to technical competence, we place great importance on being meticulous and working systematically, having the ability to collaborate while also being able to work independently. You have good communication skills and value order and structure. Good quality is a guiding principle in your work. To succeed in the role, you should be stimulated by problem-solving and have the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
