SAP EWM Senior Functional Consultant in Supply & Distribute Internal Logistics

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP EWM Senior Functional Consultant to join our newly created team. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of S/4HANA Embedded EWM, strong integration experience, and a proven track record in template building, greenfield and brownfield implementations, and global rollouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in the implementation & rollout of SAP EWM global template solution for one of the largest Automotive manufacturing companies in the world.
• Support greenfield and brownfield SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations across multiple regions and business units.
• Support end-to-end project lifecycles, from Functional documentation, development of EWM objects & testing to go-live and hyper-care support.
• Ensure seamless integration across modules – PP, MM, SD, and SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM).
• Develop and manage EWM-MES integrations, including custom and standard interfaces with non-SAP systems (e.g., PLC-driven systems, third-party WMS).
• Design and support RF Framework for handheld and mobile operations, including queue management, custom screens, and RF menu enhancements.
• Push for use of standard and custom Fiori apps for different EWM processes – inbound/outbound, internal, packing activities and production supply.
• Work on middleware integration: IDOCs, Proxies, Web Services, and API-based communication.
• Collaborate with technical teams on IDOCs, Proxies, BADIs, and Function Modules.
• Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and real-time visibility across warehousing and production operations.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for project tracking, release management.
• Track and resolve incidents via ServiceNow, with ownership of root cause analysis and knowledge transfers.
• Provide expert-level support and training to key business stakeholders and end users.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• Strong functional and technical expertise in ASR, API, and warehouse/production integration.
• Should have knowledge of production integration and preferably Digital manufacturing.
• Good to have knowledge of Advanced Shipping & receiving.
• Proven experience building custom EWM templates and executing rollouts across multiple sites.
• Deep hands-on experience in RF Framework configuration and enhancement.
• Fiori app extension/customization and role-based UI optimization.
• Integration with non-SAP systems (via IDOCs, RFCs, proxies, APIs, middleware like PI/PO or CPI).
• Familiar with development lifecycle using Azure DevOps and incident/change handling in ServiceNow.
• Comfortable in collaborating with ABAP developers, BASIS, infrastructure, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certifications in SAP EWM.
• Experience with automotive manufacturing systems such as MES, RFID/barcode scanners, and warehouse automation.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow for project and support lifecycle.
• Excellent soft skills – communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.
