The pediatric and adolescent medicine clinics are located at both Central Hospital Karlstad (CSK) and at the Gripen health center.

The clinics are staffed by nurses, dietitians, social workers, administrative staff, and pediatricians, with psychologists also part of the team at CSK.

We work with pediatric medical conditions and receive children and adolescents aged 0–18 years. Your primary placement will be at CSK, but based on your preferences and the needs of the organization, combined positions may be possible.

We continuously strive to provide child-friendly care. Working together is a success factor both internally and externally. The work involves collaboration with general medicine, child health centers, and school health services.

Your Responsibilities

Work in the neuro team is characterized by both independent work and teamwork. You will be part of a team that is under development alongside doctors, dietitians, psychologists, social workers, and administrative staff. Team collaboration provides an opportunity to develop specialized skills in the field.

You will have your own clinic for initial consultations with families, follow-up visits, and possibly parent lectures and training sessions for schools and preschools.

Your Skills/Competencies

We are looking for a licensed pediatric nurse with experience in pediatric neurology. To be suitable for the position, you should have several years of experience in pediatric care.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and believe that you have a strong interest and commitment to neurology, as well as experience from other child-related work.

You have the ability to work independently, be responsible, pedagogical, flexible, proactive, and also have good collaboration skills – all to achieve the best possible treatment to support children with neurological issues towards good health.
