Your Workplace

Folktandvården Hagfors/Ekshärad consists of a cheerful and positive team of employees of varying ages. Here, you have the opportunity to work both traditionally and with task distribution. The clinics are modernly equipped with, among other things, nitrous oxide equipment, panoramic X-ray machines, and equipment for digital impressions. We operate in two different locations and offer the use of our clinic car for business trips. Free parking is available outside both clinics. To extend the weekend a little extra, we work half-days on Fridays.

Hagfors is located in northwestern Värmland and is characterized by its nature. The municipality's large natural areas provide opportunities for an active leisure time with sports and outdoor activities all year round, whether you enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing, or motorsport. There are also shops, culture, community life, and municipal services. With only an hour's drive to Karlstad and about 45 minutes by plane to Stockholm Arlanda, you can enjoy the tranquility of Hagfors while being close to urban life.

The position is a permanent full-time employment but we are open to discussing other forms of employment. A probationary period may occur, and start date will be agreed upon. Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

Your Responsibilities

As a dental nurse with us, you will work with a varied patient clientele including adults, teenagers, children, and elderly adults - all with varying care needs. The tasks vary from day to day and include assistance, sterilization, and reception work to ensure a varied and stimulating work environment.

At the clinic, we work both traditionally and with task distribution, and there are great opportunities to work with your own patients in areas such as prophylaxis and scanning of bite splints and removable orthodontics.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has completed or is about to complete a dental nurse degree. Proficiency in Swedish at a level equivalent to upper secondary school or level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, as well as basic computer skills, is required. Providing high-quality dental care and a professional approach towards both patients and colleagues is essential for you.

Knowledge of the Carita journal system is advantageous but not a requirement as we offer training. Experience as a dental nurse and working with your own patients is a plus but not mandatory. Personal suitability for this role is of great importance. Selection will be ongoing during the application period.
